John Mosca

John joined Caroline + Gislason as an associate in 2013.

John received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, where his studies focused on human geography, medieval history and Italian language and literature.

He worked for several years in the tourism industry before returning to UBC in 2009 to pursue a law degree. John’s legal studies concentrated on labour relations and criminal law and procedure. He was a two-time recipient of the Hugh Ladner Memorial Prize in Labour Relations, and in his final semester he was awarded the Resolution of Labour Disputes – Labour Arbitration Prize.

John completed his articles in the field of criminal law, appearing for clients on a diverse range of matters before the Provincial Court, and playing a supporting role in several complex Supreme Court trials.

John was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2013.

In his spare time, he can be found cooking, reading and making wine.
